NO LIMITS JUST SURF

SurfABLE Scotland Logo
Based in Lossiemouth, Moray, SurfABLE Scotland is the first organisation of its kind in Scotland and likely the world’s most northerly adaptive and inclusive surf school. Since 2017, we’ve been breaking down barriers to make surfing accessible to all, with a particular focus on supporting disabled and neurodiverse individuals.

We believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the freedom of adventure and the connection that come from riding waves. Our sessions aren’t just about sport, they’re about building confidence, creating community, and making unforgettable memories.
You won’t find our greatest achievements in charts or figures. You’ll find them in the laughter, the stories, and the sense of belonging shared by those who surf with us.
SurfABLE Scotland isn’t just pioneering inclusive surfing, it’s creating a movement where everyone is welcome in the water.

Para Surf Scotland
In 2022, SurfABLE partnered with the Scottish Surfing Federation to assemble and coach Para Surf Scotland. Marking the nation’s first-ever entry in the ISA World Para Surf Championship, Jade Edward became Scotland’s first surfer and the youngest female (10) to reach a semi-final in a World Surfing Championship, ranking 7th in world in Prone 2 class.
In 2023, Scotland once again sent attendees to the ISA World Para Surfing Championships, competing at Huntington Beach, USA, where SurfABLE Scotland's Ambassador, Karen Darke, reached a semi-final place in Prone 2 class.
