About

  • Facebook

SwimABLE Scotland is a partnership project with Active Schools Moray (Forres & Lossiemouth ASG) that offers free swimming and surfboard skills sessions in a pool setting. The sessions are designed specifically for children with additional support needs who attend school (or are home-schooled) in the Forres or Lossiemouth areas.

Please note: Due to current funding and resource limitations, sessions are only available to children meeting the above criteria.

What We Offer

  • Free sessions that blend individualised teaching with group integration.

  • A person-centred, patient, and adaptable approach tailored to each child.

  • Long-term development goals that prioritise consistency, confidence-building, and independence.

Children involved often progress from being apprehensive around water to becoming enthusiastic swimmers, gaining not only physical skills but also resilience, self-belief, and perseverance along the way.
